1. Ram (the project manager), Carlos (Technician) and I were working on the firmware and circuits in the lab on Tuesday. I helped them solve another problem and make great progress for the project. Carlos made comments to me like, “Well, if I were the project manager, I will offer you a lunch…”
Ram thought about it had no choice but said to me like, “All right, I will buy you a lunch…”
2. The next day Carlos and I went to have lunch with Yakov who is a Russian guy. So I kidded Yakov like, “Hey Yakov, how did you end up in evil America as a Russian guy. Are you working for KGB?”
3. On our way to lunch, I asked Carlos, “You already have 4 kids, how many more would you like to have?” Carlos answered,” That depends on when my wife and I can have a daughter…” “Oh, I thought you were gonna say that depends on what kind of sports team you would like to form…” I kidded him.
4. By the end of the lunch, Ram showed up at the entrance of the cafeteria with everybody looking at him.
So I yelled to him, “Hey Ram, you owned me a lunch. Is it why you came late?

Carlos invited me to join his softball team and play in GE employees’ league. I played the first game with them on Wednesday . It was my third time to play softball, but I did well and play 2 or 3 safe first base and 1 walk . I think I am becoming an OK softball player. I am happy about it.
