1. Today Rama (my professor) is gonna buy us a dinner before the football game. We discussed about where to go the other day in the office. Rama proposed a restaurant, whose location I am not sure about. So I asked him, “Where is that restaurant, Rama?” He said, “It’s just near XXX (somewhere near the campus).” I kidded Rama by pretending to have worked too hard like, “I am sorry Rama. I stayed in the lab too much. I don’t know where it is…”
2.1 Mara was one of my housemates last year. She came back to the house on Thursday, when we were excited to see each other. After hugging each other, she asked me, “How was your summer, Barton?” I kidded her like, “Summer without you was great…”
2.2 Mara, Courtney and I chilled at the house patio, when Mara saw a long rope hooked by two trees in front of the house and therefore asked, “What is that used for?” Courtney said, “Oh, Spencer used that to dry his under wears.” Since that was a really long rope, I was like, “Dude, how many under wears does he have!?”
3. Before the end the internship at GE Global Research, part of the interns headed out to play in a mini sports Course. After having a great time and before wrapping up for home, we made our best wishes to each other by keeping saying, “You guys have a good evening.”, “You guys have a good summer.”, “You guys have a good career.” and “You guys have a good life.”, basically because people are finishing the internship. I thought people were wishing stuff, so I made my wishes to the people like, “You guys have a good baby…”
