1. I was playing soccer with a bunch of strangers, when we didn’t have a goalie. Someone asked, “Who has the experience of playing goalie?” I was like, “Well, I had bad experience playing goalie…”
2. Mohsen and I had been working on some really boring data for several days. Prof. Olivier showed his sympathy by saying, “You guys should get a medal for not killing yourselves…”
3. We didn’t like the project using the boring data, but Rama helped us go through the data and made us feel a little bit confident about it. I made a comment to Rama like, “It’s kinda fun to make something out of crappy data. It’s like an adventure…”
4. I met a girl in the small animal building, who told me her name was something like “Iskemia”. The name sounded quite complicated to me, so I asked her, “I am sorry I didn’t get it. Do you have an easier name?”
