In my senior high, having lunch at the only cafeteria is a huge problem thanks to all classes dismissed at the same time. People tended to rush desperately to the cafeteria in order to avoid spending 20 minutes in line or missing their favorite food.
Senior students’ classrooms are located in Senior Student Building with restrooms’ windows facing the cafeteria. Some classrooms were located at the end of the corridor, so people from those classrooms were significantly slowed down by students from classrooms in a better location. They were not happy about it. So they found their way to the cafeteria by jumping off restrooms’ windows to skip the traffic. The dean claimed to prohibit this shortcut many times, but people kept doing it.
One day, after class dismissed, people jumped off restrooms’ windows for cafeteria as usual. Just upon setting their feet on the ground outside the building, they found the dean smiling at them around 5 meters away. They were totally embarrassed and had nothing to do. So they climbed back to the restroom through the window…

高 中的时候，中午吃饭排队是个老大的问题，中午下课铃一响，大家都会以迅雷不及掩耳盗铃响叮当人不让之势向食堂奔去，以避免排队20分钟或发现鱼香茄子，土 豆牛肉等食堂名菜被人抢光。高三的学生会被学校照顾，安排在离食堂非常近的高三楼。尽管如此，高三学生内部的竞争也搞得跑步去吃饭是个弥漫在我们心中无法 抹去的痛。
高三楼一共有三层，每层四个班，每层男女洗手间各一个，洗手间的窗户正对着食堂。那时四班因为地处在走廊的尽 头，他们每天冲向食堂的队伍都会被地理位置更好的比如我们三班严重的延缓，就非常之郁闷。于是四班的男生开发了从洗手间的窗户跳出高三楼，绕过人流直奔食 堂的截径。年级主任杜德林对此非常不开心，多次在年级大会禁止这种跳厕所窗户的行为，但屡禁不止。
一天中午下课，四班的韩书男，王优黎等几个哥们为了迅猛地吃饭，又直接从洗手间的窗户跳了出去。刚落地，突然发现年级主任站窗口五米远的地方慈祥地望着他们。
哥们儿们慌了，不知如何是好，于是就又从楼外面爬窗户跳回了洗手间…
